Version 1.1 of Atlas, the Netacea customer portal, introduces an important feature that enhances security and simplifies user authentication. Available now, Federated Single Sign-On (SSO) follows on from our recent release that gave you more control over user management.
Introducing Federated Single Sign-On (SSO) Support
We support Federated Single Sign-On (SSO) using the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) standard. This feature allows customers to streamline their login process and enhance security by enabling users to authenticate through their organization's identity provider (IdP).
Key Benefits:
Simplified Authentication: Users can log in to Atlas using their existing corporate credentials, reducing the need to remember multiple usernames and passwords.
Enhanced Security: Centralized user authentication through your organizationโs IdP improves security by leveraging existing security policies and reducing potential attack vectors.
