Version 1.3

Release Date: November, 2024

Version 1.3 of Atlas, the Netacea customer portal, focuses on better contextualisation of your data and improves the ways in which you can explore and investigate. Our goal is to make the portal easier to navigate, more visually intuitive, and provide deeper insights into your specific threats.

Unmanaged Traffic

We now separate traffic that is outside the scope of direct mitigation by Netacea Bot Protection. This includes requests that have already been blocked by upstream defensive solutions, such as a WAF or a generalist bot management system integrated with your CDN. Additionally, it encompasses traffic routed through paths that have not been configured for mitigation within the Netacea platform.

Previously, unexplained spikes in permitted data sets could cause undue concern and required manual investigation. With this update, the customer portal clearly identifies Unmanaged Traffic, ensuring greater clarity and eliminating confusion over whether spikes represent false negatives or legitimate threats.

Global Filter Changes

Version 1.2 brought in more contextual dashboards to help you navigate to the data and extract useful insights. We have now added the ability to filter and select specific items inside those dashboards by; Country, ASN, ISP, IP, User Agent, Path Group and Visitor ID.

Enhanced Interactions with Data Visuals

We have introduced a feature enabling you to select a data series on a graph and the whole dashboard will change related to your selection. This pairs well with the global filtering changes and gives you more intuitive interactions with the data.
