What is this report forโ€ฆ

This report shows how Netacea would respond to your traffic, highlighting how much could be mitigated and a breakdown of the sources for any detected threats and the effect of mitigation actions. Sources of traffic is split out into IPs, Data Centers, Organisations, Countries, User Agents and Request Statuses. The report can also be filtered by path group, to identify which parts of the site or attack vectors are being targeted most heavily, either by bots, threats or by legitimate visitors to the site.

This will help you easily identify...

  • How Netacea would respond to your traffic

  • The source of traffic including any detected threats, on a number of different dimensions (country, data center)

  • Biggest sources of traffic

  • Breakdown of traffic from a range of different dimensions

  • The ability to filter down to a specific category/path group, and view the above on those terms

Dimensions you can filter onโ€ฆ

  • Date Ranges

  • IP Address

  • User Agent

  • Data Center

  • Country

  • Host

  • Path Group

Controls

Controls are a great way of filtering the report to highlight and segment only the information you need to see.

These can be managed by:

  1. Using the Date Range Picker and Datastream selection controls to filter by time and datastream

  2. Using the Control Panel dropdown to insert the parameters you need

  3. Clicking on the report itself to select and segment

IP Contains & User Agent Contains

With each of these dimensions, you can carry out a partial search for a known item, or you can select one from the relevant tables or bar charts in the dashboard Agent.

Data Center Equals and Country Equals

With each of these dimensions, you can either search for a specific known item, or you can select one from the relevant tables or bar charts in the dashboard

Host

Filter by selecting a specific host from the drop down

Click on the Report

As an alternative to looking up a known data point, you can also directly interact with the report. By clicking on the values displayed in bar charts or tables , this will automatically add the value to your Control, to filter on.
